Draper mentored Parker on shipments, hiring employees and remodeling his facility. Parker enrolled at Clarkson’s, completing his senior year in freshman-level college courses. Over the years it has grown to become a very popular country restaurant serving breakfast and lunch. Parker`s Maple Barn has been a family establishment since the late 1960s when it was just a small Sugar House owned by the original Parker family.
